The present example, the RM003 is slightly larger than its predecessor and incorporates a tourbillon and sapphire crystal disc for the dual-time zone indication operated through a rectangular pusher on the left case band. This pioneering wristwatch also features a clutch-like function selector, enabling the wearer to engage the crown in (H) gear to set the hands, (W) gear to wind the movement and (N) gear to fully disengage, thus minimizing the point of stress on the winding stem and any unnecessary force exerted on the watch mechanism's components. Two additional gauges measure the watch's power reserve and the torque or tension in the mainspring.
