Richard Mille is well-known for his passion for classic racing cars. It was only fitting, then, that he played a significant role in launching the Le Mans Classic Event alongside Peter Auto in 2002. This biennial gathering is much more than a mere race around the world-famous Le Mans circuit—it is a spectacular celebration for enthusiasts, drawing vintage and classic car lovers from around the world. To mark the event's two-decade milestone in 2022, Richard Mille introduced the RM 029 Automatic Le Mans Classic timepiece. This remarkable watch is the eighth edition created by the brand to commemorate the Le Mans Classic Event and is produced in a limited quantity of 150 pieces. The case is composed of a white Quartz TPT mid-case combined with green Quartz TPT (QTPT) to the front and back. The front bezel features white QTPT double stripes, positioned at the top and bottom which is complemented by the white rubber strap. The dial is further enhanced by a Le Mans Classic logo between 6 and 7 o’clock.
