This watch features a distinctive "Albino" cream-coloured dial. Unlike previous models, Omega opted for Luminova instead of tritium for the hands and hour markers, marking a first for the brand. The hour markers were also outlined in black for added contrast, contrasting with a similar design element on Omega’s Snoopy series. Additionally, both the dial side and case back utilize sapphire crystals, a design choice Omega had not previously implemented and would not use again for standard production Speedmasters for another five years.
