Raymond railroad grade watch is a stunner! With a production date of 1894 and a relatively small number made this is a highly collectible pocket watch. With a personalized dial with the name "E. Alter Newark N.J." the dial is absolutely pristine and defies logic that it's 131 years old! This watch has been FULLY serviced and runs like it did well over a century ago. The case is in incredible condition also and the mineral glass crystal is close to flawless. Since this is a railroad grade movement the front bezel must be unscrewed and a lever pulled in order to change the time, a safety feature required of these high quality movements when they meet the stringent standards to be called "railroad grade".
