AQUASTAR - a Vintage stainless steel Deepstar 10 ATM "Big Eye" Diver's mechanical chronograph wristwatch, circa 1960s, purple dial with gilded and silvered baton hour markers, pencil hands with luminous inserts, white centre chronograph seconds hand, subsidiary seconds hand at 9 o'clock and subsidiary chronograph minute dial at 3 o'clock, rotating bezel with Deepstar scale allowing for calculation of aggregate diving times for successive dives without use of conventional diving tables, caseback signed Aquastar Deepstar with starfish emblem, on original Tropic black rubber strap and tang buckle, 7 jewel movement with valjoux calibre 23, movement signed Aquarstar Watch Co, serial no. 515699, case width 38mm, working order, boxed. Notes: the model as worn and tested by Jacques Cousteau and his diving team on board the vessel "Calypso".
