On to the Pineapple Dream
It was to represent the elite status of pineapples in the 19th century. Pineapples were a status symbol as it was difficult and rare to come by and a symbol of wealth and prosperity. Many cultures have similar regard for pineapples.
It features a unique degraded dial Dark Green to Yellowish Green sunburst upward pattern, it has to be seen in person, it's amazing, to say the least. Looking at the dial is a very refreshing experience and makes you enjoy the watch if you know its significance. Depending how you rotate the bezel relative to the dial, it can have an asymmetric look based on the orientation, so it gives the watch a variable unique character as if it's hinting to a direction where the yellow/green bezel is oriented.
