All watches tell the time, and some go a step further integrating more indications through their complications. But how many watches can follow the Earth on its perpetual motes of rotation and revolution?
One can, and that’s the Urwerk UR-100 Electrum. Its peculiar “Satellite” display, Urwerk’s signature, keeps track of the hours at the center of the dial, while indicating minutes in its bottom part - from 4 to 8. Then from 8 to 12 the hand of the satellite counts the kilometers elapsed by a fixed point on the surface of Earth, and finally from 12 to 4 the distance covered by Earth on its revolution around the Sun.
This one-of-a-kind masterpiece is part of a very limited edition of 25 pieces; cased in yellow gold, and powered by the caliber 12.01, it comes complete of its full original set.
