We are seeking fully informed buyers who are serious and fully convinced that they will like their purchase from us :) Offered here is Universal Geneve Uni Compax chronograph in 18K gold with an original, silver 'Big Eyes" dial, now quite aged. Original blued steel hands with luminous that still glows a bit. The watch dates probably to late 1940s or 1950s. In that time period many of these watches were made with thin gold cases that were reinforced inside with a base metal frame. Since the lugs are hollow they use female spring bars. The chronograph starts and stops with push button at 2 o’clock. Return chronograph hands to start position with the button at 4 o’clock. The movement runs good and all chronograph functions working. There is a dent in the case on the side by 9:30 position. The case back also has a small dent, can be pushed out somewhat. The crystal is in good condition. Overall a nice vintage gold chronograph from a well known manufacturer. The watch is 41 mm long. The shipping on this item is $40 by FEDEX 2 day service.
