Watch from the late 1990s. It is identified with a reference 898,400. It comes with a 39 mm polished steel case. (excluding crown and pushers). The thickness is about 14 mm. The blue dial features. gold indexes, spheres and frames. The spheres enjoy a tritium luminescent treatment. At 3 o'clock opens the small window for quick-release date. Protecting the dial, we find a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The bezel, of the fixed type, is made of gold and bears a tachymeter scale. The case back and crown are pressure-locked and personalized with the Universal Genève Logo. The pushers, and crown are made of gold. Inside beats a self-winding UG98 mechanical movement on a Valjoux 7750 base with a customized oscillating weight. It is in turn protected by a steel case back, where the Logo, reference and model information are displayed. Securing it to the wrist is an alligator strap with a gold buckle, both original. Accompanying, there is its original box, lacking, however, the papers. The aesthetic and mechanical conditions, are excellent, with nothing to report. The movement was serviced in March 2024.
