Tudor Submariner 7021/0

Description

TUDOR Submariner Date Snowflake

Tudor, which adopted the Oyster case and Perpetual movement from Rolex and expanded its sales network, returned to Japan in 2018 and became an official sponsor of the Rugby World Cup, gaining attention. While Tudor long inherited Rolex’s taste, after 1969 the shield logo was unified with an emblem, evolving into Tudor’s own design. In 1954 Tudor’s first diver’s watch, the Oyster Prince Submariner, was launched. Its form followed the Rolex Submariner but added unique design cues for differentiation. Many variations exist, all highly scarce, keeping strong market values. This piece features Tudor‑only equipment such as square indices and the “snowflake” hands, making it a popular spec. The automatic movement is ETA cal. 2484, the same calibre used in the Prince Oyster Date known as Decabala. The popular square‑hand model, nicknamed “squid hand” or “snowflake,” shows bubble‑like dial aging, but both hands and dial are original, with hands in good condition and tritium lume. The bezel’s luminescent points are missing. The bracelet is a Rolex‑style folded link bracelet (7836/FF380). - Warranty: Store‑issued 1‑year warranty - Condition: Vintage - Size: Men’s - Case diameter: 40 mm - Movement: Automatic, ETA cal. 2484 (1971) - Water resistance: Everyday water resistance, plastic crystal - Features: Diver’s watch, rotating bezel, date display, three‑hand layout - Accessories: Original manufacturer box (no international warranty card) - Case material: Stainless steel - Bracelet material: Stainless steel - Bracelet type: Folded link - Dial colour: Blue - Dial type: None - Product name: Tudor Submariner Date Square‑Hand 7021/0
