Description

Tudor Ranger Ref. 7966/0 / Serviced / Year 1967 We are thrilled to present an exquisite vintage timepiece, the stainless steel Tudor Ranger, Ref. 7966/0, meticulously crafted in 1967. Acquiring a vintage Ranger in its original state can be a formidable task due to their scarcity in the market. However, through a stroke of good fortune, we obtained this remarkable watch as part of a package deal, which included the non-date version that was subsequently sold back to the manufacturer. Initially owned by a father and son, these timepieces eventually found their way into the hands of a collector, from whom we were fortunate enough to procure both pieces. The tritium dial and hands of the Tudor Ranger have been flawlessly preserved and beautifully complement each other. It is worth noting that tritium hands and hour markers ceased production in the late 90s within the Swiss watch industry. A notable advantage of these particular pieces is that Tudor, a brand owned by Rolex, used Rolex parts until the late 90s. As such, this specific timepiece features a Rolex-signed crown, clasp and caseback, adding to its allure. Accompanying the watch is the original folding bracelet reference 7835 with 357 end links, originating from the same era. Every component harmoniously aligns with the watch’s production year, culminating in a remarkable ensemble. The case, measuring 34mm, remains in good condition, further enhancing the overall appeal of this extraordinary timepiece. The price includes Swiss VAT of 7.7%, which can be directly deducted for export, and the shipping cost comes with full worldwide insurance. Please note that the customer will be responsible for paying any customs duties in their country. We have completed a full service to ensure precision and accuracy, and we offer a 2-year warranty (excluding waterproofness) starting from 31.05.2023. In the event of a warranty claim within this period, the customer will need to cover the cost of shipping the watch to our watchmaker.
