1966 Rolex 5512 Gilt Submariner – Full Set
Description : We have a clear love for 5512’s and this one is no exception. Gilt – 4 line 5512 Submariner with chronometer certification, box, and receipts. But if you’re only excited for the paperwork please look for another watch. This particular example has the most beautiful golden lume plots and a very mirror black glossy gilt dial. The case is also excellent with original bevels still visible. The hands appear color matched which is rather expected for this era of gilt watches. Often times the hands deteriorate and the dust sits and mars the glossy dial. The insert has been changed out likely at some point in it’s life but it has so much character fading from black to a greyish blue MK3 insert
