Rolex Submariner (No Date) Ref.5513 Maxi MK 5 Serial: 81+++++ Strap: ROLEX Genuine Bracelet BOX and PAPERS: No COMMENT 付属のブレスレットはRef.93150です。 HIGHLIGHT Maxi MK 5, Mint Condition COMMENT The Ref.5513, produced from the 1960s to the 1980s, exhibits unique characteristics based on its manufacturing year. The models from 1976 to 1984, featuring the feet-first depth rating and the last of the no-shoulder luminous products, are commonly known as "Maxi." These introduced a maximal dot luminous display. In the 5th generation dial within the Maxi series, the SUBMARINER designation has a longer length than the depth rating. Compared to its predecessors, the Maxi series is characterized by a deeper black color and a slim and refined font for the crown logo. The accompanying bracelet is the Ref.93150. Equipped with the reliable Cal.1520 movement that served for over 20 years, this watch is one that we can confidently support in post-purchase maintenance. The watch has a highly mint condition. The case, with mild usage marks, maintains excellent proportions. The bezel shows no damage, presenting an impeccable condition. The dial exhibits no noticeable damage, and the luminescent material has aged to a pleasing beige tone. As depicted in the photos, aging is visible on the hands. The bracelet, though a later version, has minimal stretch, earning high praise. We have provided a video for a closer and more detailed inspection. The Ref.5513 with a matte dial, produced from 1966 to around 1984, represents a delightful opportunity to handle a well-preserved specimen from the final years of the no-shoulder luminous era. As the roots of all diver's watches, this watch holds historical significance and is a valuable timepiece with enduring storytelling. BRAND The birth of the world's first true diver's watch, the SUBMARINER, took place in 1953. The initial model boasted a remarkable water resistance of 600ft=180m, a groundbreaking figure for its time. The success of Rolex is epitomized by the SUBMARINER, serving as the foundation of the brand's historic and iconic timepieces, continuing to captivate numerous enthusiasts to this day.
