Launched in 2012, the Sky-Dweller is still the most advanced calendar ever made by Rolex. Protected by 14 patents, the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller provides the information global travelers need to keep track of time at a glance. The local time zone is indicated by the hands, while the second time zone may be independently adjusted without stopping the minutes and seconds hands. Accuracy is thus preserved. The 24-hour revolving central disc allows travelers to clearly distinguish daytime from night-time hours.
Introduced in 2017, Ref. 326934, such as the present watch, is fitted with a blue dial, a white gold bezel, steel case and bracelet. Sky-Dweller’s annual calendar distinguishes between 30 and 31-day months and requires adjustment only once a year, at the end of February. The screwed winding crown is used to wind the watch and set the home and local time. The white gold ribbed bezel can be turned to adjust the calendar functions. The Sky-Dweller is equipped with caliber 9001, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Introduced in 2012, this Swiss certified chronometer movement is one of the most complex calibers ever created by Rolex.
