A very rare opportunity to find double Red Sea dweller with original box and papers. Forever a collectors favourite, along with the Daytona, the double red SD remains one of the most coveted vintage sport Rolex ever produced. It was refreshing to acquire such a well-preserved Double Red Sea-Dweller, directly from the second owner. Purchased in 1970s and worn sparingly, this rare Plexiglas Double Red ref. 1665,has its original box and papers alongside 2 Rolex services. Its most recent documented service with Rolex was December 2025. It features the MK IV matte charcoal tritium dial, with creamy lume plots & Mercedes hands. The 40mm steel case is in excellent condition – retaining thick lugs and fantastic definition, just as it should be. Fitted to its folded link Oyster Fliplock bracelet, waterproof to 200m and powered by Rolex's SCOC self-winding calibre 1570. One for a serious collector and longer term investor.
