This watch was in fact a special request from Eaton & Co and the dial presents the signature Eaton instead of the classic Rolex. The Eaton department store was one of Canada's biggest retailers at the time. Between 1930 and 1960, these "1/4 Century Club" watches were given to loyal employees for 25 years of service. This particular watch is a reference 3937 and made out of 14kt yellow gold. The watch is in outstanding condition. The inscription on the case back and all hallmarks are deep and clearly visible. The case design is wonderful with its "Rams Horn" lugs. The silver quadrant dial is all original and two-tone with blue feuille hands.
