Rolex Oyster Perpetual mid-size stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 5056, serial no. 669xxx, circa 1948, circular silvered dial with Arabic numerals, minute track with five minute divisions and centre seconds, Rolex screw down crown, signed 17 jewel Patented Super Balance adjusted 2 positions movement, signed case, modern bracelet, 30mm, Movement - running although intermittently stopping so requires attention. Dial - crazing, surface marks, residue and some wear - see image. Glass - surface scratches. Hands - hole to the hour hand infill, some surface corrosion. Case - surface marks and pitting to the case back. Crown - adjusting, not screwing down fully.. Bracelet - modern replacement, clasp at fault.
