Rolex Oyster Perpetual 'bubble-back' stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 3458, serial no. 3994xx, movement no. 228xx, circa 1945/46, milled bezel, signed silvered dial with Arabic quarter numerals, baton markers, outer minute track and a subsidiary seconds dial, screw-down Oyster crown, Cal. 9 3/4''' automatic movement, vintage brown leather strap, 32mm (in need of repair) , Private Provenance. Box and Papers - no box or papers. Movement - not currently functioning so will require repair/service. Dial - typical patina with some light marks present - see image. Glass - surface marks and a crack from the 4-6 positions- see image. Hands - light marks. Case - typical surface marks as expected for the period, the screw back has some light surface scratch marks - see images. Crown - screws down and adjusts hands. Strap - badly worn and requires a replacement.
