Rolex Day-Date Oysterquartz 18K Gold 36mm Champagne Dial Watch Ref 19018 Offered here is a rare and highly collectible Rolex Day-Date Oysterquartz men’s wristwatch crafted entirely in solid 18k yellow gold. This example dates to the late 1970s and represents one of Rolex’s most distinctive and short-lived production models, combining the iconic Day-Date design with Rolex’s in-house high-accuracy Oysterquartz movement. The watch features a 36mm solid 18k yellow gold case with the signature angular Oysterquartz profile, fluted bezel, screw-down crown, and matching solid gold Oyster bracelet. The champagne dial displays applied gold hour markers, gold hands, a full day window at 12 o’clock, and a date aperture at 3 o’clock beneath the Cyclops magnifier. The dial is correctly signed “Rolex Oysterquartz Day-Date” and “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified,” with Swiss designation at the bottom. The watch is currently running and keeps excellent time, with the date function operating properly. The bracelet will fit an average men’s 7 inch wrist as currently sized. Total weight of the watch, including the solid 18k gold case and bracelet, is 139.7 grams.
