Pre-Owned Box Originally launched in 1977 is the Rolex Oysterquartz which is the first Rolex to bear a sapphire crystal. This Oysterquartz Day-Date in full 18K yellow gold is just one of the approximately 25,000 Rolex Oysterquartz watches ever produced. The watch features a 36 mm case with a fluted bezel and a traditional champagne dial. At 12 o’clock is a day aperture while at 3 is a magnified date window. This watch is double stamped, a red Khanjar symbol can be seen at 9 o’clock position, and an additional red Khanjar stamp is on the case back. Bearing the royal crest of Oman, this timepiece is one of those commissioned by Sultan Qaboos bin Sa’id Al‑Sa’id. Flowing seamlessly from the case is a yellow gold bracelet with satin‑brushed outer links and polished center links. This timepiece is equipped with the Rolex in‑house calibre 5055.
