"Everose” is Rolex’s own special pink gold alloy which does not fade over time, it contains in addition to gold, copper, and a small amount of platinum, it is made in Rolex's own foundry. Aficionados also appreciate the matte black dial and matte Cerachrom black bezel which gives the watch a unique appearance rarely found on modern sports watches. To complement the overall style a new form of rubber bracelet called the “Oysterflex” with titanium-nickel alloy core was developed especially for this model.
