The seconds hand and date window are red. The “DATEJUST TURN‑O‑GRAPH Ref.116263” appeared in 2004. The original Turn‑O‑Graph Ref.6202, registered in 1953, was the first Rolex with a rotating bezel and is considered the origin of sports models; the bezel returns to zero, giving the name Turn‑0 (O). After about 50 years, the Turn‑O‑Graph returned and attracted attention. As a successor to Ref.16264 (nicknamed “Thunderbird”), it shares the “DATEJUST” line with Ref.116263 but its design has dramatically changed. Especially the bezel, previously embossed with the Thunderbird shape, now features a beautifully cut, fluted‑like design with Arabic numerals and bar prints at the 5‑minute intervals – a distinctive Turn‑O‑Graph shape. The indices are bar‑type only, and at 6 o’clock the dial reads “TURN‑O‑GRAPH” in red. Both the seconds hand and date window are unified in red, distinguishing it from the “DATEJUST” design. The line flowing from case to bracelet is smooth and voluminous, the case surface changes from a satin finish to a mirror finish, enhancing its dress‑watch elegance. The bracelet’s flash‑fit is integral, and the central links have changed from hollow (rolled‑sheet) to solid, improving strength and durability.
