Capaz de mostrar la hora prevaleciente en 24 zonas horarias al mismo tiempo, el GMT Worldtimer independiente tiene un diámetro de 40,5 mm y un grosor de 9,7 mm. La esfera del reloj está equipada con una pista giratoria, marcada con una ciudad destacada para cada zona horaria. El disco de la ciudad se encuentra junto a una escala de 24 horas, que indica la hora relevante en el lugar que se muestra y si es de día o de noche. Las manecillas de horas y minutos en forma de barril indican la 'hora local'. Girar la corona a las 4 en punto, marcada con un símbolo de mapa mundial en su costado, permite al usuario ubicar la ciudad local al mediodía, mostrando así la hora actual en las 23 zonas horarias restantes.
