Manufacturer: Piaget Year: Circa 2000s Reference No: 1600 Case No: 829’520, 17/50 Model Name: Emperador Material: 18K white gold Calibre: Manual, cal. 125P, 28 jewels Bracelet/Strap: Leather Clasp/Buckle: 18K white gold Piaget pin buckle Dimensions: 33mm length x 29.5mm width Signed: Case, dial, movement and buckle signed Accessories: Accompanied by Piaget fitted presentation box and outer packaging. , - The Emperador was produced as an exclusive limited edition around the year 2000. Available in yellow and white gold, both variants were produced in 50 pieces each. - The Emperador is equipped with the Parmigiani PF110, a refined, tonneau-shaped calibre with eight-day power reserve. However, the version of the movement in the Emperador is unique as it has been modified to feature a jumping hour display and eliminate the date. Fitted with a silver dial with a guilloche center, the power reserve aperture sits right above the jump hour. - Turn it over and the artisanal nature of the movement is revealed. Not only is the movement finely decorated with anglage and sporting a swan's neck regulator index, the bridges and base plate are entirely engraved by hand. - Intricately flourished with flora motifs, the flowing lines leads you through the whole movement where one will discover the cursive P motif, and also its serial 17/50 within. Preserved in excellent overall condition, the present Emperador with a Parmigiani touch is a rare gem to appear., Creativity, audacity and know-how are the values that gave Piaget its international reputation and allowed the brand to distinguish itself in the world of fine watchmaking and precision. Founder Georges Edouard Piaget established the company in 1874 and manufactured watch movements. While Piaget is famously recognized today for their elaborate wristwatch and bangle designs, they also mastered the marriage of their high-quality, in-house-produced wristwatches and stunning pieces of jewelry.
