Elegance was very much the order of the day, which led to numerous engineering challenges in pursuit of this goal. Luckily for Piaget, the brand had a long history of making ultra-thin watches, with the 9P manual wind and 12P automatic calibres being amongst the thinnest ever made. These were released in 1957 and 1960 respectively.
