Movement: signed, manual-winding caliber CH 27-70Q, n. 3046933, 24 jewels, rhodium-plated, côtes de Genève, Geneva seal, column wheel, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat and cold, isochronism and eight positions, free-sprung flat hairspring.

Rare white gold perpetual calendar and chronograph, elegant and extremely well preserved. The watch is paired with a black dial with leap year and moon phase indicator, additional solid caseback, pin corrector and certificate of origin, one of only 12 examples today known.
The reference 3970 was the first perpetual calendar chronograph from Patek Philippe to introduce leap year and 24-hour indications.
The Patek Philippe 3970 here presented distinguish itself for the combination of white gold and black dial, as confirmed by the guarantee certificate and the Extract from the Archives.
