This is named in reference to some of the earliest wrist watches worn by men. Army officers, looking for something more practical than a pocket watch during battle, would buy the best quality gold pocket watch they could afford and solder lugs to the case, allowing it to be worn on a leather strap. The watch features a black dial with a textured sunburst motif in the centre, applied arrowhead markers and a date aperture at three o'clock. The 38mm case is completed with screwed lugs and a hinged dust cover covering a sapphire case back. The watch is powered by the self-winding cal. 324 S C, visible through the case back. The watch is fitted to a black alligator leather strap.
