The present example represents less than a handful examples known in pink gold and its rectangular case is highlighted by very prominent fancy sculpted lugs and silvered dial set with Arabic and arrow-shaped numerals. Purchased by the current owner at Antiquorum in 1998 for over 60,000 USD, the watch further retains a very crisp case with crisp hallmarks to the band. The signature is nicely raised in hard enamel and the numerals have all tarnished with age.
