From the mind of Sly himself, Sylvester Stallone, who had planned to sponsor an entire "Slytech" Panerai sub-brand before Panerai was sold to the Vendôme Group (now Richemont) in 1997. Launched in collaboration with Sylvester Stallone, the Panerai Luminor Slytech has been produced in around 200 pieces, all of them gifted by the American actor himself, who made this model famous wearing it on the wrist throughout the film "Daylight", in a period when the Panerai name was largely unknown to the public. The production number of the Luminor Daylight Slytech 5218-207A is 105, and the production number of the Luminor Submersible Slytech 5218-205A is 95, for a total of 200 pieces. But this example is more than just an incredibly rare piece, it is a time capsule. After about 20 years this watch is presented in unworn condition, complete with its original luxurious wooden presentation box, its key with hang-tag, the original registration and service booklet, two additional Pre-Vendome straps, screwdriver, a submarine scale model on wooden stand and a special edition I Mezzi D'Assalto book dated 1993. The watch has a captivating white dial with luminescent hands and a stainless steel cushion shaped case measures 44mm in diameter, with a Sylvester Stallone signature on the case-back.
