The Omega Speedmaster 1957 Trilogy was released as part of three watches to commemorate the 60th anniversaries of the release of the Seamaster 300, Railmaster, and Speedmaster. The Speedmaster 57 is heavily inspired by the original reference, and is notably distinct from the more famous Moonwatch that followed it.
Instead of the usual stick hands, the Speedmaster Trilogy has a 'broad arrow' hour hand and dauphine minute hand. The white chronograph seconds hand is replaced by a steel version, and the lume is a warm beige - a tribute to how the original dials have aged.
The case is also different, being slightly smaller and lacking the twisted lugs and crownguards that are found on the Moonwatch.
