This limited edition Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII” commemorates the 40th anniversary of the final lunar mission in December 1972, which is the last time man stepped foot on the moon. It features a 925 silver dial embossed with the same design as the Apollo XVII patch. A small seconds dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder grace the dial along with a central chronograph hand. The bezel, features a black aluminium tachymetric ring, and is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case fitted with a stainless steel bracelet. Powered by the calibre 1861 manual-winding movement and protected by a closed commemorative caseback. This Speedmaster Moonwatch “Apollo XVII” was produced in just 1,972 pieces, making it the ideal piece for those looking for exclusivity.
This watch was originally sold in July 2018 and comes supplied in unworn condition, with both its original inner and outer boxes, pictogram card, limited edition certificate, swing tag, instruction booklet and original international warranty card.
