Movado Jumbo Chronograph 95M

Very nice jumbo size Movado chronograph from around 1960. Beautiful 95M movement. The 95M comes with an additional hour counter compared to the 90M. Large 38mm size. Stainless steel case in a rare variant/shape. Very nice condition for the age with beautifully and evenly patinated original dial and hands. These movements are among the best quality wise among the classical column-wheel chronographs (if not the best). These Movado chronos also really rarely come in such a large size for the time. The hour counter function is often broken. To fix that, on this specific watch a replacement part was made by hand (proper restoration), which will last many years and it is made a better quality than from factory back in the day. A rare and undervalued piece with a lot of future potential.
