Movado "Feuille d'Or"

24 × 31 mm / 750 ‰ gold / Quartz / Serial No. 136 / 68 g / circa 1980 / functional. Like‑new Movado Feuille d'Or / Golden Leaf. At the end of the 1970s manufacturers competed to build ultra‑thin quartz watches. Under the project name “Delirium très mince” ETA engineers succeeded in developing a watch with a case thickness of 1.98 mm. It was presented on 12 January 1979 – a world record. The watch was sold by various manufacturers under their own names, including Movado. This piece carries the individual number 136. The time is set with a push‑rod on the back. It comes with an integrated Milanese gold bracelet with a folding clasp. Bracelet length with watch: 17.5 cm.
