He said it was the last balance wheel in the states that could be found. It now runs and keeps time with all functions working, He said it was a difficult movement to work on as he didn't want to disturb the originality and did what he was comfortable doing. That being said, the only real issues are the flyback occasionally does not come all the way back to zero. Stop it and start it again stop it, it will come back to zero. The same issue is the 12 hr register as he said has wear on the pin for the had and it floats, but re zero. I bought a NOS movado band for it. As you can see the watch has not been restored and has beautiful patina. He dated it to 1944 so I think it looks pretty good for being 80 years old. Movado only made 14,200 M95 chronos between 1939 and 1969. This watch is for the collector that will cherish it for what it is. There is a gentleman on youtube that goes through the Movado history and identification. The watch maker that did the work can answer any questions you might have on the work he did.
