This is an early reedition of the legendary Lindbergh hour angle wristwatch. A piece of aviation history and in very good condition. The 38mm steel case still retains all its original lines. The dial is an exciting combination of enamel with a rotating steel centerpiece. The red and blue details add an extra spark to the watch, and were originally intended to increase readability on the watch. The watch has a so-called onion crown which would allow pilots to operate the watch with gloves on. There is a small pusher at 4 o'clock that allows the user to pop open the case back to reveal the automatic winding mechanical movement that has been nicely finished. This example comes with the original full length smooth steel bracelet and there are also some extra links still present. All in all this is a very complete and exciting wristwatch.
