Benson, London, the movement having engine-turned decoration to the silvered backplate, an overcoil Breguet hairspring to the lever escapement and stamped Swiss Made, the case and inner cuvee hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1926 along with the initials A.L.D. for the Dennison Watch Case Company, formerly Aaron Lufkin Dennison of Handsworth, Birmingham, diameter 48mm, gross weight approx. 94.65gs.
