Die 866 ist der Nachfolger der populären IWC 666, die in großen Stückzahlen produziert wurde, im Gegensatz zur relativ seltenen 866. Das 37-mm-Edelstahlgehäuse wirkt schön präsent und modern am Arm; der Zustand von Gehäuse und Band ist sehr, sehr gut. Die Uhr besitzt einen Weicheisen-Magnetfeldschutz und ist somit gegen elektromagnetische Felder gewappnet. Das Zifferblatt der frühen 866 hat den typisch stark ausgeprägten Sonnenschliff und ist, wie die Zeiger, ebenfalls sehr gut erhalten. In der Uhr tickt das IWC Cal. 8541B in sehr gutem Zustand; diese Reihe gilt als robust und wartungsfreundlich. Mit dem originalen G&F IWC-Band sicher ein Highlight mit toller Ausstrahlung. The 866 is the successor to the popular IWC 666, which was produced in large quantities, in contrast to the relatively rare 866. The 37mm stainless steel case has a great presence and looks modern on the wrist; the condition of both the case and bracelet is excellent. The watch features a soft-iron inner case for magnetic field protection, making it well-equipped against magnetic interference. The dial of this early 866 features the typically pronounced sunburst finish and, like the hands, is in very good condition. Inside the watch ticks the IWC cal. 8541B in excellent condition; this movement series is considered robust and easy to service. Featuring the original G&F IWC bracelet, this is certainly a highlight with a fantastic aura.
