A 3-piece open face pocket watch construction, screwed-on front piece and back case. Overall the watch is near-mint, or lightly used condition: Porcelain dial, no visible veining. No visible corrosion on the black watch hands. Beautiful clean-looking hacking watch movement. Hacking movement runs strong. Winds up smoothly and easily. Unexpectedly, when preparing this listing, noticed some difficulty setting time; needs to pull knob up higher to set time. Something (maybe winding stem area) needs tightening. Should be an easy fix for your technician during next servicing. To continue to list, I have considered this during pricing. It comes with a wooden box. Unlike the watch, the box appears aged and shows signs of heavier use.
