Rare skeleton back transparent case and band variant (Marked 6861 CLEAR”) DIAL DETAILS: Mickey Mouse joyfully points to each hour with extended red fingers (one finger per hand). Bold Bradley at 12 o’clock, “Mickey Mouse” lettering around lower body. “Swiss Made” between seven and five, hallmark oval beneath. “Walt Disney Productions” encircling lower dial curve. Classic Design: black oblong ears, upward nose, red shorts, clown-style shoes, slim black tail spiraling downward. CONDITION: Strong ticking movement, audible several feet away. Transparent band shows a few very minor scratches and a small missing piece at corner end of band (shown in photo). Includes Original Plastic Case (shows wear on left side top, with a slight crack at rear. One of the two notches that allows you to open and close the case is missing on the left side, although the case still opens/closes and snaps into place. One clasp is missing inside box where watch is held inside of case. The other clasp is intact and will secure the watch band in place while mounted in the case. Still retains Original Factory White Sticker on outside of the case, marked “6861 CLEAR” - Confirms Authenticity and rare transparent variant. Never worn since gifted in childhood. RARITY & PROVENANCE: Skeleton-back Mickey Mouse watches were limited runs compared to mass produced solid case Bradley watches. Transparent materials were fragile, so few survived intact. Most retail stickers were removed decades ago - intact 6861 CLEAR sticker makes this piece especially desirable. COLLECTORS NOTE: Bradley produced Mickey Mouse watches in the tens of thousands, but skeleton-back transparent variances were rare experiments. The survival of this watch with its original sticker and case elevates it above standard Bradley Mickey models. A true collector's piece that combines Disney charm with Elgin craftsmanship.
