Description
c.1939 Elgin Duo Dial 5509 Gents Doctors Watch Rare ! In the mid 1930's Elgin was best known for producing the William Ostler Doctors Watch, and these do come up every so often, this model is a much rarer model, has no name only a number 5509 that we know of but unlike the Ostler where the second ring is at centre of the dial, this watch features a Duo Dial arrangement. The case is 14k Gold Filled throughout and is in very good condition, as is the dial. Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Movement signed Elgin Watch Co. Cosmetically overall this is in very good condition and comes with an Elgin Box ( we can't really guarantee that this is its original box but could be )
