Description

Ebel Discovery Diver 183913 NOS 40mm (Box & Papers) Can it be said, that Ebel brought one of the most iconic designs to the 1990’s watch market? Maybe! But most certainly, Ebel succeeded in creating disrupting creations without making compromises to the quality of their watches. This spectacular Ebel Discovery comes from old jewelers stock and is like new! Therefore, it deserves a desired status among collectors, ‘new old stock’! All design features from this watch scream 1990’s. A very interesting era when speaking about design and quality. The black watch dial has been decorated with 18k gold applied Roman hour makers, which are complimented by the ‘pencil-style’ hands. Furthermore, the watch features a mono-directional rotatable bezel dedicated for diver purposes. This adds up, when looking at the model name of this Ebel, the ‘Discovery’! The case is complimented with a design feature, we also see in the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, which was designed by the famous Gerald Genta. Of course, we are talking about the 18k yellow gold screws on the case. These give the watch marine porthole allures, which again compliments the purpose and name of this 1990’s Divers watch. The bracelet is also bi-colour. The 18k solid gold and the stainless steel is a combination which embodies luxury and durability all at once. Perfect for everyday wear and comfort, without making any compromises in luxury. This approach was broadly used within the 1990’s by Ebel. Have a look at the Ebel Sportwave for example. A very popular men’s and women’s watch, which is still being sold worldwide, today.
