Christophe Claret has developed unique complicated calibres for numerous luxury brands, including Franck Muller, deGrisogono and Harry Winston. Presented in this lot is the Grand Complication – Titanium DualTow, it was developed to mark the brand's 20th anniversary. Housing the CC20A calibre, the timepiece features a gong strike at the trigger of the chronograph pusher, a mechanism distinct from their contemporaries in which the gong only strikes to tell the time. The exceptionally pure and clear tone is achieved with a finely crafted gong – one of the most sophisticated and delicately-crafted apparatus in the movement.
