Cartier Vendôme Must “Trinity”

Vendôme Must Trinity : 2 classics on a budget !  Description Cartier's Vendôme, as elegant and timeless as the Place! The very round case, almost uninterrupted, recalls the simplest watch shape. The strape, connected to the case by thin horizontal lugs, barely seems to hold the watch. In addition to Cartier's timeless horlogy elements (such as a minute scale in the railroad style, blued hands, and a cabochon on the crown), this watch incorporates the codes of the Trinity collection. The alliance of 3 golds represents the three cardinal values: rose gold for love, yellow gold for fidelity, and white gold symbolizing friendship. With this Must model, you can access two Cartier classics at a more affordable price compared to the solid gold versions (which will also never feature this unique dial).   Why did Françoise choose it ? Similar to the Place of the same name, the Cartier Vendôme exudes luxury and subtlety. It's a discreet model with fine lines that Francoise trusts completely. The Vendôme allows for the introduction of a round dial, a shape less common at Cartier, known for its "shaped" watches. Françoise loves the Must collection for its youthful and fun take on Cartier watchmaking. She also enjoys presenting more affordable alternatives to the classic solid gold range. The presence of a deployant buckle, often featured in the classic range, is a significant comfort advantage! For those who follow us (or browse our stock), you're already familiar with our absolute love for the Trinity collection, as represented here by the three golds on the dial. History As early as 1924, Louis Cartier conceived the Trinity ring, featuring three golds. This blend of gold tones would accompany the House in many of its products, including jewelry, pens, lighters, and sometimes, watches! In 1934, Louis Cartier patented a new way of straping watches : a horizontal bar was inserted directly into a central buckle attached to both sides of the case. The Cartier Vendôme was introduced around 1973 as a tribute to the Parisian square of the same name, a meeting place for jewelers and watchmakers. The two lugs are said to evoke the two streets leading to Place Vendôme: Rue de la Paix and Rue de Castiglione. In the same years, Cartier launched its Must collection in gold-plated and silver options, offering the iconic designs of the house at more attractive prices for younger clientele.
