Bremont Supermarine

Description

Bremont Supermarine Terra Nova GMT

The Bremont Supermarine Terra Nova GMT is a limited-edition of only 300 pieces introduced in 2014. Constructed primarily from grade 5 titanium, it combines lightweight durability with enhanced scratch resistance compared to steel. The case measures 43 mm in diameter, 16.4 mm thick, with a 50.8 mm lug-to-lug distance and a 22 mm lug width. The watch features a black DLC-treated center case for contrast and additional resilience, polished titanium lug edges, and a removable crown guard. The crown is offset to improve comfort for both left- and right-handed wearers. Designed as part of Bremont’s Supermarine collection, the Terra Nova GMT is highly water-resistant, rated to 500 meters, and includes a helium escape valve. The dial displays a GMT function with an independent 24-hour hand, a date window, luminescent hands, indices, and a lumed bezel. Powering the watch is a Swiss ETA 2893-2 automatic, certified as a chronometer, offering a 42-hour power reserve, quick-set date, and hacking seconds. This model commemorates explorer Ben Saunders’ 2013 South Pole expedition, reflecting Bremont’s focus on robust, expedition-ready timepiece.
