The 1960s was a time of experimentation, fun, freedom, and energy. Whether it was cruising on a motorcycle or driving a sports car, life at full speed was the order of the day. Willy Breitling felt this change of pace and began designing an unconventional chronograph that would capture the spirit of the era. He named this model the Toptime. That spirited tradition continues today with Breitling collaborating with some of the coolest brands in motorsport to create its Top Time designs. The Top Time B01 Deus is designed in collaboration with the Australian surf and motorcycle manufacturer Deus Ex Machina and will appeal to motorcyclists, boarders, and backpackers, all seeking the freedom to explore the world in their own way and at their own pace. It features the Deus emblem and the adage 'In benzin veritas' on the dial, as well as a perforated leather racing strap, a tachymetric scale that measures speed, and contrasting 'squircle' (not quite square, not quite round) subdials that evoke the feel of a vintage dashboard meter. It comes with an incredible engine under the hood: the exceptional Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01.
