I bought the watch on Chrono24 in 2021. I have worn it very little, so no maintenance is necessary. I wore the watch on my own leather strap. I have never used the original bracelet. The scope of delivery can be found in the photos, sold with box and papers. There are no scratches visible, possibly minor signs of wear, overall the watch is in very good condition. Here is an excerpt from the Breitling website : Back in the 1950s, the original Co-Pilot Ref. 765 avi starred alongside another Breitling legend: the Navitimer. With its bold design, engraved rotating bezel and highly legible dial, the 765 avi was the perfect complement to the Navitimer as a robust and reliable pilot's watch. Today's avi Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition is modeled down to the last detail on one of the early versions of the Co-Pilot Ref. 765 avi. Its all-black dial is protected by a highly domed Hesalite crystal and features the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot from 1953. The model is tone-on-tone with the small seconds and the 15-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. The color of the hand-applied Super-LumiNova coating is an exact replica of the color of the original luminescent material, giving the avi Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition an additional touch of vintage charm. The 41 mm stainless steel case is also identical, and the bezel is locked in place by three screws in exactly the same position as on the 1953 watch. There are only two modern-day concessions that distinguish this new model from its famous predecessor: The water resistance has been increased to 3 bar (30 meters), and if you look very closely, you will see that the inscription "geneve" is no longer visible on the dial. The avi Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition is powered by Breitling's in-house Manufacture Caliber B09, a cosc-certified, hand-wound caliber based on the famous Breitling Caliber 01 and specially developed for reissues of historic watches. The watch has a vintage-style black leather strap with a pin buckle and is limited to 1953 pieces, all of which bear the engraving "one of 1953". This is a private sale, no guarantee or returns.
