The standout feature of the watch is a hemispherical earth, adorned with a hand-painted map centred around the Arctic, including details of mountains, deserts, oceans and forests. The artwork is empowered with luminescent substance which displays a radiant earth in the dark. More impressively, the wearer has the option to customise the chosen orientation of the world map, with the chosen location positioned on the earth-sun axis when the watch displays midday, as well as making it possible to determine where it is night-time in locations around the world. Orbiting the world map is a sphere representing the moon, completing a full rotation every 29.53 days, a high-precision mechanism which functions as a moon-phase display. Opposite the hemisphere is the sun representing a double-sided flying tourbillon, drawing attention to its celestial gold appearance, as seconds. Bovet chooses to implement a retrograde display of the watch's complications, with a retrograde power reserve indicator and minute display separately curved around the globe piece. In a pleasant addition, the case back reveals a secondary display, including a perpetual calendar, day window and single hour window, all visible on a silver movement plate.
