Blancpain Villeret Split Seconds Chronograph Platinum Watch W/Box and Papers (1186-3427-55) - One of Blancpain's Six Masterpieces, the neo-vintage reference 1186 is recognized as the world's first rattrapante (split-seconds) chronograph. This sophisticated timepiece is set in a 34mm platinum three-body case with a stepped convex bezel and straight lugs. The white dial displays applied Roman numeral hour markers, luminescent baton hands, three sub-dials, and a date window at 6 o'clock. Inside is the ultra-thin self-winding caliber 1186, a split-seconds chronograph movement with 38 jewels, 361 components, a frequency of 21,600 vph, and a 40-hour power reserve. The watch is completed with a blue fabric strap.
