Spindle Pocket Watch "Lake Thun with Niesen"

38 mm / 750 gold / Key-wound / 32 g / circa 1800 AD / needs restoration. Fine, richly decorated spindle watch. Guilloché gold dial with Roman numerals for the hours. Breguet-style blued hands. Spindle movement gilded with a finely perforated bridge for the three‑beat balance wheel with ruby capstone. Case back with enamel medallion depicting a house on Lake Thun with the Niesen mountain in the background. Finished with a delicate pearl bezel. Above it, acanthus engraving. Continuous engraving of branches, leaves set with pearls on black enamel. The case rim and crystal rim are also set with pearls. *Movement appears to be hardened. Enamel medallion slightly chipped. Two pearls missing from the crystal rim.*
