41mm / 18k gold / key-wound / 51g / circa 1820 / running. Fine, richly decorated verge watch signed "Romilly / Paris". Enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and a surrounding minute track with Arabic numerals. Gilt verge escapement with a finely openworked bridge for the three-armed balance. Case back with enamel medallion depicting a woman in oriental dress. The medallion is surrounded by translucent green enamel and marcasites. Case back and crystal bezel are richly engraved. The crystal bezel is set with marcasites. *Enamel slightly chipped at the winding hole. Enamel painting worn.*
